At Dennis Michael Studio our approach to lessons is one which has devloped over years of experience. Lessons are most effective when the basics of technique and music theory are instilled into each lesson. With that in mind we teach using fretboard theory and technique in every lesson. It is only with an understanding of these fundamentals can a person improve on their instrument and see noticable gains regularly. I believe the number one reason students quit taking music lessons is due to frustration. This frustration is primarily due to a lack of understanding of the core principals of technique and basic music theory and how they apply to your instrument. We offer the convenience of lessons in your home for an extra fee based on location. We also offer rental instruments at reasonable rates.
